Florida, the Harvest of Hope Foundation Located in Gainesville, Florida, the Harvest of Hope Foundation is a unique grass roots non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that has been providing migrant farmworkers and their families with emergency assistance, economic hardship relief, and educational scholarships for over 15 years. The Food Empowerment Project Based in Santa Clara County, the Food Empowerment Project decided to take a closer look in our own backyard to determine how easy it is for communities of color and low-income communities to have access to healthy fruits and vegetables, as well as alternatives to meat and dairy products.
