"In my community, the Farmworker Association has brought great knowledge to young people. Many of the students I graduated with my senior year are from immigrant working families and were unable to continue on to college.  Even though they met the requirements, it was too expensive because they do not get in-state tuition rates.  The Farmworker Association brings workshops that help to lead young people in the right direction when it seems all the wrong cards are set out for them in life".
